Details: Made from very dense madake stock, this 1.8 jiari plays very brightly and with good volume.
Even intonation with very good balance into the third octave.
Possessing a kinko style utaguchi inlay and very beautifully done urushi binding
It's oval shape gives it a nicely secure grip.
Cracks running up the front and back were stablized with equally beautiful urushi binding.
Another two bindings would be suggested to ideally secure the instrument into the future.
Ro in both otsu and kan has a certain instability when pushed very hard.
